Red Bull House of Art
This work places an emphasis on perception of world culture through media and its influence on America. Growing up in a small town helped Brach realize how closed off and standardized his surroundings were. After moving to Detroit, he was exposed to a variety of cultures, religions, and peoples. Brach’s paintings reflect the tension and curiosity of society, and the absurdities it brings upon itself, to create a multifaceted documentation of the world he lives in.
